Member, UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Committee, and chair, Assessment Sub-Committee
Roslyn Russell has recently been appointed one of two new Asia-Pacific representatives to the UNESCO Memory of the World International Advisory Committee. Roslyn attended her first meeting in Lijiang, China, in June 2005. She was appointed to the MOW IAC Bureau at the meeting. See www.amw.org.au for updates.

After the IAC meeting in China, Roslyn was also appointed Chair of the UNESCO Memory of the World Register Sub-Committee.

In September 2005 Roslyn travelled to Cheongju City in the Republic of Korea for an international seminar on the preservation of documentary heritage; and the presentation of the UNESCO Jikji Prize. In collaboration with fellow Australian MOW Committee and UNESCO MOW Register Sub-Committee member, Ray Edmondson, she gave a presentation on the work of the Australian MOW Committee and the Australian Register.
