Roslyn  Russell
  Roslyn holds an MA Honours degree in History from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science in Cultural Heritage Management from the University of Canberra.

Roslyn edits two magazines for the museum sector, Museums Australia Magazine and Friends of the National Museum of Australia magazine. She has wide-ranging experience in exhibition development, from small scale interpretive signage to temporary and permanent exhibitions. Her work has appeared in venues ranging from national and state institutions and federal government departments to local and regional museums. She has recently developed the interpretation for her first overseas exhibition, the Museum of Parliament and National Heroes Gallery of Barbados, West Indies.

Roslyn is the author and co-author of a number of books and other publications on Australia’s history and heritage. She has helped to develop tools for assessing cultural significance in the areas of movable and documentary heritage, and has been involved in the assessment process at national and international levels. She is currently compiling the correspondence of Professor Manning Clark for publication in 2008, and finalising her doctorate in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Australian Defence Force Academy.

Michael  Jones
  Michael Jones, BEc (Honours, History), University of Queensland, Doctor of Philosophy (Urban Research), Australian National University

Dr Michael Jones has been a researcher, writer, public policy specialist and academic for over thirty years. His doctoral thesis was published by Melbourne University Press as Housing and Poverty in Australia. He is the sole author of seventeen books on public policy (including four editions of The Australian Welfare State, published by Allen & Unwin), many works on local government, and eight local histories. These include histories of Knox Shire and the Dandenongs, Frankston, and Whittlesea in Victoria; Strathfield and North Sydney in NSW; and the Gold Coast (A Sunny Place for Shady People and Country of Five Rivers: Albert Shire), and Redcliffe in Queensland.

For over twenty-five years Michael was Senior Lecturer in Public Policy in the University of Canberra. He now carries out selected historical research projects in his areas of interest. His most recent projects for RRMS have included a research essay for the National Museum of Australia’s gallery redevelopment; and short biographies for the National Heroes Gallery, Barbados. Michael is Financial Manager for Roslyn Russell Museum Services.

Debbie  Milsom
  Debbie Milsom

Debbie Milsom is Office Administrator for Roslyn Russell Museum Services.

After a sixteen-year career in the Commonwealth Bank, she became Membership Manager for Museums Australia in April 2000, a position she retains. Debbie is a keen photographer, and is responsible for maintaining the RRMS website and databases, and all book-keeping functions.
